7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu & Abedares
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Met by our representative by 7.30am, at the international airport
or hotel briefed, and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley
to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at MARA
SAROVA LUXURY CAMP in time for lunch. Later enjoy an afternoon
game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the MARA SAROVA
LUXURY CAMP.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives
at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension
of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of
plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals
and overnight at MARA SARAOVA LUXURY CAMP.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru, to arrive at the Lodge in
time for Lunch, relax and have an afternoon siesta and later at
1600hrs enjoy and after noon game drive that takes to the lake right
in bird-life and animals, Dinner & overnight at the SAROVA LIONHILL
LODGE.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Samburu
Depart early in the morning, after breakfast, with stop over the
Equator Point, drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and
coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the
Lodge in time for lunch. Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon game drive
within the park to introduce you to the game in the area. Dinner
and overnight at the SOROI SAMBURU LODGE.
Day 5: Samburu
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game
drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104
square kilometers). This is the homeland of the nomadic Samburu
people, whose culture attaches great value to tending their livestock
of cattle, sheep, goats and camels as their main economic activity.
Samburu is rich in species not seen in southern Kenya's more famous
parks. You'll also have a good chance at spotting lions, cheetahs
and the elusive leopard. The semiarid landscape is dramatic, with
the rugged outcrop known as Mt. Ololokwe a prominent feature. The
Ewaso Ngiro River, which forms the southern boundary of the reserve,
attracts many birds and is a popular watering hole for elephants.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation, and
then take an evening drive for more game viewing. Meals and overnight
at your SOROI SAMBURU LODGE. <
h4 class="mb-3">Day 6: Samburu - Aberdare Early morning game
drive, depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Outspan Hotel.
The hotel is the base hotel for the tree hotel The Treetops. Lunch
at the hotel. At 1430hrs, transfer to the Treetops Lodge which is
located in the Aberdare National Park, This game viewing lodge was
originally built in 1932 and is famous as the place where the then-Princess
Elizabeth ascended to the British Throne. The father King George
VI died on 5th Feb 1952 the night she spent at Treetops while on
honeymoon, the Lodge has various decks and balconies for easy viewing
and photography of wild game. Dinner and overnight of game viewing
at the TREETOPS LODGE or THE ARK LODGE.
Day 7: Aberdare -Nairobi
Breakfast and return to Nairobi. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant,
justifiably referred to as Africa�s Greatest Eating Experience,
having twice been voted amongst the world 50 best restaurants by
UK based Restaurant magazine. Drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport for your flight back home. Great Holiday Ends.
